It could've been worse but it certainly could've been better. Where there's blood, there are traumatic and life threatening injuries that need to be treated—stat! After Mind Games, the exciting debut by Carolyn Crane, I was very excited to see where the next book would take Justine and the rest of the Disillusionists in wake of the events of the first book. The Disillusionist series by Carolyn Crane is a new, fresh read with quirky characters, and a story line that keeps you guessing. Prospects are excellent for the following specialties: limb and head reattachment, heart repair and reinsertion, full-body skin Carolyn Crane lives in Minneapolis, and is the author of the Justine Jones: Disillusionist trilogy (Spectra) including Mind Games, and the upcoming Double Cross (September 28, 2010). Head Rush is the satisfying conclusion to this amusing and excellent series. Head Rush picks up 2 months after Double Cross, book 2 in the I leave you with this. It had a great concept but not at all used to its potential. After reading both books, I feel the author does give The book also has a very powerful ending which helps overcome all shortcomings of the book and makes the reader anxiously await the third and last book in the trilogy. *Head Rush is the final book of a trilogy, there will be some spoilers for the earlier books in this review*.
